Cala Hotels in Stornoway.
As the leading
hotel hotel
and restaurant group in the Outer Hebrides (Western Isles), we've
experienced more than
a quarter century of change here on the Isle of Lewis.
We strive to move
forward
just as our colleagues in the hotel industry on the mainland do - we
may be at the edge of Europe, but we're not stuck in a time
warp.
At least one thing
stays old-fashioned, though. The traditional Hebridean
hospitality that turns guests into lifelong friends..
Hotels with Independence and Commitment.

Each of our three
hotels is distinctly different,
serving varied market needs and reflecting the individual styles of
the hotel management teams.
They
all share a common goal to provide exceptional quality for our guests.
Each hotel is follows a quality management path dictated by
the
Hospitality Assured programme - a standard for
Service and Business Excellence in
hospitality. Hospitality Assured is the only standard within the
industry that
is focused on customers' experiences and requires a commitment to
exceed customer
expectations, within a climate of continuous improvement.
Innovative Dining.

Our
most recent restaurant opening was at the Cabarfeidh Hotel, where the
old Manor Restaurant was replaced by Solas, featuring light,
bright, contemporary decor, stylish furnishings plus state of the art
lightng and sound systems.
Most importantly,
food
preparation at Solas is concentrated on using the finest,
freshest local
ingredients available. Head chef, Vivek Kishan has travelled the world
developing his skills and draws on his wide experience to add a
wonderful range of flavours in the modern 'Scottish Fusion' cuisine
that he and his team create.
Solas is just one
of several excellent dining venues in Cala's hotels.
At our Caladh
Inn, Eleven cafe bar and buffet
restaurant offers a 'designer' environment for all the family,
which provides a different 'feel' at different times of
day.
Meanwhile, the
Royal Hotel is host to HS-1, which was our first contemporary
cafe/bar/restaurant and is still one of (if not 'the') most popular
venues in town. Also at the Royal is the traditional Boatshed
Restaurant, a firm favourite with many local residents.
Quality accommodation and good value.

At the Cabarfeidh
Hotel a recent major internal renovation programme has provided bright
modern bedrooms that comfortably exceed the requirements for a 3 star
hotel. Enjoy free wi-fi , room service and great hospitality in this
excellent location for business or pleasure.
Stornoway's most
historic hotel, the Royal, originates from the mid-19th century and as
its guardians for future generations, we continue a process of
conservation, renovation and sensitive modernisation. We are
thus able to offer a range of spacious bedrooms that retain period
features and ambiance, while being equipped with contemporary, high
quality fixtures and fittings - such as modern bathrooms, flat screen
TVs and free wi-fi.
Close to the ferry
terminal and town centre, the 2 star Caladh Inn is the largest hotel in
the Outer Hebrides and in addition to business users and independent
travellers, it's also a geat choice for group travel operators.
There is a wide choice of room styles, to suit varying
accommodation requirements. As in all Cala hotels, you'll
find free wi-fi and good dining options.
