The most comprehensive range of conference
and meeting function rooms in Stornoway and the Western Isles - all
within 10 minutes of a modern, efficient airport terminal.

The total
conference space available in Cala Hotels' Stornoway function rooms
could seat up to 700 delegates simultaneously and we
have beds for over 240 guests.
We boast the
flexibility to mount a major conference for off-island clients in an
'intriguing' geographical location, provide space for a couple of
guests to meet informally, or anything in between.
Our function rooms
are regularly used as sales venues by High Street retailers from the
mainland who wish to
both provide their products to island consumers and to benefit from the
high disposable income within the local economy.

A discreet location
The geographical
location of the
Isle of Lewis and its travel infrastructure, together with
the
'intrigue' value for new visitors, supports the potential benefit for
marketeers to stage meetings here. Although news
travels
fast among islanders, there is every reason to suppose that advance
product launches, for example, could be staged more discreetly than on
the mainland.
For example, a
press or dealer
launch for a car model revision, together with test driving on quiet,
remote roads, would attract a great deal less attention in Lewis, than
on the mainland, helping to prevent reports appearing before the
desired time.

Flexible spaces
In
addition to
purpose built meeting rooms, our cafe-bar
restaurant, Eleven, and the reception lounge at he Cabarfeidh
are both proving popular for impromptu business meetings.
With
relaxed seating areas and plenty of space, it's an ideal location in
which to settle down with coffee for an informal discussion.
A complete food and
beverage service is
available throughout the day in both locations, including full meals,
sandwiches and light bites, plus our pastry
chef's tempting fresh home-made desserts.
The Western Isles most complete conference
and banqueting suite - elegance with an air of practicality at the
Cabarfeidh Hotel.
The Conference and
Banqueting
Suites at the Cabarfeidh Hotel were purpose built and while they would
not be
accurately described being themed to a period, they have a particular
elegance, perhaps reminiscent of the early 1900s, with
large chandeliers
let into ceilings, ornate joinery and mirrors.
There's a calm
atmosphere -
conducive to productive meetings in which the participants can
concentrate on the agenda, without undue dusturbance.
Main entry is
separate from the hotel., direct from the car park with reception foyer
and cloakrooms. The Ballroom and adjoining Oak Suite are
independently accessible from the foyer.
A further function
room, the Willow Suite, is located adjacent to the hotel reception and
is perfectly suited to small meetings and private dining.
