Cabarfeidh Hotel - Food & Beverage Assistant – Restaurant / Bar / Events / PT / FT
Right now, we are looking for an experienced, energetic and passionate Food & Beverage Assistant to help us. We thoroughly look after our guests, host incredible functions, serve delicious meals, whip up some wicked cocktails and make great coffee. As Food & Beverage Assistant you will not just help the team to provide exceptional customer service at all times – you will also add another smile to the faces of the Cabarfeidh.
As Food & Beverage Assistant you will:
- Have experience in working in busy hotels or bars.
- Take pride in your work and always have a genuine smile on your face.
- Be outgoing, communicative and welcoming and enjoy looking after people.
- Make guests feel welcome and ensure they have an amazing experience.
- Serving guests in our restaurant, the bars and during functions and events.
- Prepare drinks and make coffees.
- Setting up and clearing tables and help ensuring your department is always ready, stocked up and prepared to welcome the next guests.
- Take payments.
- Respond to guest enquiries and requests promptly and effectively.
- Adhere to COSHH, Health & Safety, cleanliness and hygiene standards and our policies and procedures.
- Respect your fellow colleagues, collaborate with other departments and be a part of one excellent, hardworking and successful team.
What you can expect from us:
- We pay above the minimum wage. You will get a real living wage rate of pay.

- Thorough training and support. All training is of course paid for.

While this can also be a full-time position, we are mainly looking for part time staff to help on our busy weekends and/ or with functions, all of which would include late finishes. But we’ll work out the details – just come on in and we look forward to having a chat.
Caladh Inn / Cabarefeidh Hotel Night Porter Salary £14.10 per hour
Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, energetic and passionate Night Porter to join our team. As Night Porter you will be playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of all guests and the hotels and helping the team to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
As Night Porter you will:
- Have experience in working in busy hotels or working nights in general.
- Take pride in your work and always have a genuine smile on your face.
- Be outgoing, communicative and welcoming and enjoy looking after people.
- Make guests feel welcome and ensure they have an amazing experience.
- Deal with any guest queries / requests courteously, efficiently and effectively.
- Be highly organised and computer literate with excellent communication skills face to face and over the phone.
- Have a great personality to share your passion for the hospitality industry in delivering outstanding customer service – always with a smile on your face.
- Be working in a busy hospitality environment which requires great interpersonal skills, a sense of humour, flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Undertake all night cleaning tasks throughout the hotel.
- Serve late night hotel guests at the bar and assist with setting up and serving breakfast to restaurant and tour guests alike.
- Clear, clean and set up function rooms before and after events.
- Ensure security of hotel and guests throughout the night.
- Facilitate early checkouts and administer payments if required.
