Hebridean Hopscotch Travel Adviser

As a member of Hebridean Hopscotch, you’ll help create and deliver personalised travel experiences across the Outer Hebrides, from Lewis and Harris to Uist, Barra, and even the Isle of Skye. We pride ourselves on providing carefully curated itineraries, local insights, and exceptional service that allow our guests to immerse themselves in everything the Western Isles have to offer.

We are currently looking for a Travel Adviser who is knowledgeable about the Outer Hebrides, enthusiastic about the culture and landscapes of the islands, and dedicated to excellent customer service. If you’re detail oriented, personable, and ready to go the extra mile to make our clients’ travels through the Outer Hebrides memorable, you’ll find Hebridean Hopscotch the perfect place to build your career.

About the Travel Adviser Role:

As a travel advisor you’ll be a key part of our small and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have passion for the Hebrides and excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus. You will be responsible for creating tailored holiday packages that meet the unique needs and interests of our clients, along with contributing to the administrative tasks that ensure every guest enjoys an outstanding experience.

Salary: £26,000 per annum or part time equivalent plus annual performance bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional service to ensure customers enjoy memorable and seamless holiday experiences.
  • Listening carefully to clients’ wishes and crafting personalised holiday packages that match their interests and preferences.
  • Collaborating closely with the Hopscotch team to ensure smooth planning.
  • Once experienced, you will also take turns covering the 24/7 on-call duty rota to support customers during their holidays.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a friendly, skilled communicator who has a strong focus on customer service. The ideal candidate will also bring the following attributes:

  • A passion for and knowledge of the Outer Hebrides.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team setting.
  • Strong organisational skills, with good literacy and numeracy abilities.
  • A self-motivated, proactive, and persuasive personality.
  • Attention to detail and an ability to see tasks through to completion.
  • Sales experience is beneficial but not required.
